With the passing of one of the greatest and most inspirational Icons in my limited Comic Book world (I only know of a small handful of people as I was not the hugest comic collector, mostly manga), Michael Turner, of Fathom, Witchblade and Soulfire fame, and with a little prodding from my roommate that I do this, I give you Fathom's Aspen Matthews, tweaked alittle to fit my style. And with a full background no less!

Michael's stylized art was introduced to me only a scant three years ago or so by Reva , who practically worshipped The Man (and I can see why) but even though I never collected his works, it was always in the back of my mind; his profiles and the way he did women's lips standing out the most as just simply...stunning in a word. And I strived to match his quality and grace with the human body. I still have a LOT of work to get to his calibre, especially when it comes to the males >.> But I am quite pleased with my progression over the years.

And so, in thanks for the all the inspiration and the sometimes not so gentle prodding of , and in memoriam of one of the greatest influences to my art, I dedicate this to both Reva, and Michael Turner (April 21, 1971 - June 27, 2008)

Thank you both for everything.

(And the outfit, is completely randomly made up, pieced and thrown together from several different sources in an attempt to do something alittle different. XD )
